Merry Christmas!!

I am excited about Christmas this year!  The house is decorated, gingerbread house is made and Christmas music is in cd player.  Last year I didn't have a job and things were looking pretty bleak, this year it's a lot better and my mood has therefore elevated.

This past weekend, we headed east...hit up some antique shops and got some more apples and an awesome pumpkin for the front door.

 

 

An Apple a day....

A wonderful weekend....

Kurt is back on days for a few weeks so this past weekend we went on a long road trip.  We drove all the way out to Gays Mills for some apples, and got the pleasure of smelling fresh apple doughnuts the whole while we were shopping.  We also went on a tour of a local winery, with a wine tasting following.  Unfortunatly I only tried a few since I didn't want to become a belligerent drunk.  Thank you mother nature for the beautiful weather and scenery and thank you Kurt for bearing with me through a long and crazy drive just for a couple bags of apples!

How I spent my free time....Summer Edition

Here's some of my summer cards I made, I spent over an hour walking up and down the aisles at my favorite stamping store a couple weeks ago.  I can't wait to go back!

Here's Kurt picking up all the clay pigeons I didn't seem to shoot on my first try at trap shooting.  I didn't do to bad, and only had a slight bruise, the second picture is my new Mossberg semi-auto.

Here's Kurt sighting in my new scope he bought me....I'm so spoiled.  Notice the gun is pink - and it ways "shoot like a girl...if you can"  I need to get a  picture of one of my targets, I'm actually pretty good.
